Avanti Construction have demonstrated its Health and Safety competence by attaining accreditation with the Safety Management Advisory Services (SMAS) – Work Safe Scheme. SMAS is a proud member of the Safety Schemes in Procurement (SSIP) Forum. All our operatives are CSCS or CPCS certified.

We continually strive to ensure that no accidents or injuries occur to any person involved in our work operations. The health, safety and welfare of our team is a continuous paramount objective.

We will ensure that any persons who may be affected by our operations on site including our clients, visitors, other contractors and the general public can carry out their duties and responsibilities safely.

Our Health and Safety Policy sets out the systems, policy’s and processes that are required to achieve the above aims whilst complying with the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974, the Management of Health and Safety at Work Regulations 1999 and any other current legislation.

All operatives are provided with adequate and appropriate supervision, training, information, time and equipment to protect the health and safety of all employees and others affected by their actions. Tested, safe and suitable tools and equipment are available. In addition safe methods and systems of work are planned, communicated and used.

Regular meetings are held with employees to seek feedback, discussion and consultation on Health and Safety issues. Tool box talks are used to refresh and introduce new safety procedures and to convey changes in current legislation.
